DJAY BRAWNER
Chicago Born. San Francisco Raised. DJay grew up in the 90′s watching music videos, punk rock VHS tapes, and 411 skate videos (all numbers approximate.) He began playing around with cameras at a very early age and moved to Los Angeles after High School to pursue filmmaking; he’s been working here ever since.
In 2004 he directed his first commissioned music video for the band EMERY and started working at an online music video channel called NewBandTV. He quickly became head of creative, but then left NewBandTv to get back to music videos and movies. He’s since directed and worked with some of his favorite artists, branched out into Feature Films, and spend a lot of time on conference calls.
He has a chihuahua named Rex, a retriever named Mika, loves traveling, and taking photographs.
