SEAN STIEGEMEIER

Hailing from picturesque Park City Utah, Sean devoted his life to ski racing until he discovered his passion of using a camera. He completed undergraduate at Chapman University and then earned his Masters degree from American Film Institute, both in the discipline of cinematography. His thesis film ‘The Butcher’s Daughter’ earned him the 2007 ASC Heritage award for his excellence behind the lens. Various cinematography publications have published articles about his work, such as American Cinematographer and ICG Magazine.

Sean currently lives in Los Angeles where continues to shoot and directed numerous music videos and commercials. In 2010 he developed an innovative technique of time-lapse cinematography while chasing after the notorious Eyjafjallajökull volcano in Iceland. He shot a small personal project that became a popular viral video with over a million views in a week PROJECT TITLE?. His goal is to begin to expand his narrative feature career with inspiring projects and stories that best suit his unique cinematic vision, while continuing to shoot innovate and create complex visual commercials and music videos.

Sean is the proud owner of an Arri Alexa, Zeiss Ultra Primes, Canon 5d Mk3, Canon 7d w/PL Mount, Hasselblad H4D. KesslerU advisor and aficionado, It’s safe to say Sean really knows his way around a camera.
