Deva Mahal – Snakes
John W. Rutland, having grown up on the music of Blues Legend Taj Mahal, had a serendipitous encounter with his daughter, Deva Mahal, and so the collaboration began. This project was the first of three music videos featuring the hit single from her 2018 album “Run Deep.” Working with animator Fons Schiedon, the video seamlessly combines live action with 2D animation to create an adventure filled with dancing, swamp exploration, and monsters.
